I always feel like somebody's watchin' me...

I see faces...everywhere!

The mean insect face sits on my husband's side of the vanity in the master bath. It stares at me hatefully as I use the toilet!

When I found this plaque for my living room, I loved it! It picked up on other motifs in the room and looked perfect hanging over the window. In fact, shortly after I got it hung on the wall, I sat admiring it. But soon, all my eyes would see was an odd teddy bear face wearing a big crown! I am unable to look at the piece as a whole. Everytime I see it, my eye is drawn to the crowned teddy bear and I do not like crowned teddy bears in my living room!

I do enjoy my little flock of avian garden shears. They are a happy bunch, in spite of their flightless fate.

The electrical outlets...not so happy. They look alarmed at the thought that they may soon be poked in the eye, yet again!

I think I need to introduce the bitter bathroom boom box to the terrifying cyclops that lives on the work bench in the garage!
Watch out! I think he bites!

My friend Gail, just sent me this one. Poor thing! She is the most miserable LadyBug I have ever seen.

If you see any good ones, send them to me!

Do you think those creatures talk to each other when you aren't around? (cue the Twilight Zone music) Maybe one of them is responsible for your lost zip drive

AHHHH! Gail, I used to have nightmares about things like that after seeing toy story!

Mom, remember how little kitty would go into steve & barry's room (when they had the bunk beds) and slowly creep up to the comforter & hit it with his paw? I think he saw a face in it or something! haha!

I totally see faces in everything. In fact awhile ago I found stickers that are eyes, noses and mouths that you can put on inanimate objects to make them "real"...

I used to see these little faces in things as a kid and they always scared me!

Eek!! When I was little I used to think that all my stuffed animals could see and that they were watching me...yes I was probably a disturbed child, but that's beside the point. I would not like to have that mini-boombox watching me while I was using the bathroom!

Thank you for voting for my earrings!!

PS I just realized that you have David Sedaris's "When You Are Engulfed in Flames" on your e-bookshelf! I love that book! David Sedaris is my favorite author of all time. Seriously. I paid money to go to a show of his and hear him read passages from his books. Verbatim. I would not pay money for that if it were anyone else in the world. Anyway, this is a long and random comment....

I saw David Sedaris live, too and it was so fun! We called it the Funky glasses festival. Everyone had on cool, funky glasses. I have all his books and love the story of the "Big Boy" incident involving a friend's toilet....it's grossly hilarious.

Hahahaha I think my favorite story is "A Plague of Tics" from Naked. I laugh every single time I read about him licking the light switch! It never gets old!

Thank you so much for voting for my earrings!!
